Vic was born in Nuneaton, and worked all his life, He was an engineering forman upto the day he
died, he had been at the same factory for over 35 years, he was a very hard working man and could
turn his hand to anything, he made bird tables, garden furniture and even decking in our garden but
he would do it all him self, he would say if anyone asked who made this or that he could say that he
did it him self, i admired him for that. He was a very caring and sociable man who loved everyone
and everyone loved him, he loved singing and dancing, he was the life and sole at any party, He was
a very keen fisherman as well. I met Vic in 1988, and loved him from the moment i met him, i had met
the man of my dreams and my sole mate, we were very close and was always together we never went
anywhere without each other apart from work. We bought the home that i live in now which was the
home Vic had grew up in from the age of 3, so he would often say he had come back home. But on that
fateful day i waved him off to work as normal, he finished work early on a friday and he called me
at work, we had a chat and a laugh, and then i called him back later, and still everything was fine,
he was supposed to pick me up from work but he did'nt show, he passed away in our home, i came home
and found him. So life without Vic is so so hard, he was my life and my world, he was the most
wonderful, caring and couragous man, and i feel so honoured to have been apart of his life, and i

Message and words of comfort, I really apreciate you all, as this is a very difficult time for me,

A letter for my precious Vic
The most wonderful thing happened 62 years ago today, you my Vic was born. I would like to thank your Mum (or Mam as i called her) for bringing such a wonderful person into this world, and Vic most of all i would like to thank you for bringing me in to your life and letting me be part of your life and for showing me what true love really meant, i will never ever find that again, you Vic meant the whole world to me and you always will.
